Just trying to back up some info

I mentioned to a coworker of mine that I keep a solo discord just for myself where I store links, images, recipes, to do lists etc etc and she (an appropriately paranoid IT person) mentioned I should have a secondary backup just in case. I decided she's right! I'm going to work on backing up all those things here and I think work on writing out some thoughts and crap about stuff I have going on in general. After like a decade of producing a constant stream of 140 character limited thoughts I really need to work on expressing myself like a normal human being again lmao

Anyway I'll start posting stuff from my discord first but I also really want to write logs/updates/thoughts from this DND game I've been running for ~a year. I have them in a journal for the campaign specifically but I think with additional space I can say some more thoughts, plus I can keep a backup of all the custom information and writing I've done for it.

This seems like a better use of work hours than doing my job, that's for sure. Do people do custom mood themes for DW like they used to do for LJ? I'm overwhelmed by the old internet feel here of selecting multiple icons and customization options & it rules, I missed it.

I have some others lined up including one i started and screwed up and have to restart lmao but it's progress! It's something my great great grandma on my mom's side used to do & a lot of skills like that just didn't get passed down so I'm trying to re-cultivate them!

I'm not sure how I want to store these pattern lists if and when i add more, use this as a master list and organize better or just dump patterns across multiple posts with relevant tags so I can always find them.

This also doesn't necessarily solve my problems of not wanting to lose things which i might have to resolve. I know I've saved patterns before by link and when i went back to look at them they were freakin dead links. Maybe if I save the free ones as pdf idk, at that point i may as well just print them and add them to a binder.
