sore mouth again why?????
Jul. 28th, 2026 07:25 pmlast week (thursday) after several months of very little issue, suddenly my gums were very sore and my tongue hurting again too. It felt like maybe I'd clenched my jaw too hard too long in my sleep or something, right in the same spot where I got my filling and where I had to get a bite adjustment.
It feels like, bc of the filling being between two teeth and how bc of that there's now a very small gap between that and the next tooth that wasn't there before, that specific spot of gum is a little more sensitive. I thought with some time it would get better and it felt like it was! But idk, all of a sudden it's very sensitive and sore, and the spot where I have that mouthwash scar is sore again too. I don't understand!! These are like 3-4 month old issues that were pretty fine suddenly being not fine.
It's already better today, Tuesday, than it was on Thursday, but it's not completely normal and painless again. I'll wait like two weeks and decide if I need to make an appointment then. It feels like before when I was leading up to the bite adjustment, every time I thought about calling to make an appointment I would feel better a week later, so I'm just going to give it a little time.
Annoying though man my mouth was better when I didn't know I had a cavity and before I ever tried to be good and mouthwash daily and burned and shredded my gums so bad. whatever!!!!!!
