i was right!
Jun. 9th, 2026 06:07 pmfennec just wasn't eating because it was hot. I slept in the living room Sunday night and heard her eating in the middle of the night, no puke, all good. Went and slept on her new tower that's taller than me comfy as anything.
Usually around this time of year I'll get her these little like, cat sauce packets or whatever, I call them gravy, I don't really know what they are. But I keep them in the fridge and will give her some with dinner every day & she loves them, licks the bowl clean every time. I just have to get out to the pet store and pick some up.
Got my dentist appointment! I go in Thursday morning. I don't know what they're gonna do exactly but god help me if my mouth is going to be numb until 4pm again. However I don't want to be not numb for whatever they're gonna do in there lol NO THANKS.
Thursdays are $5 sushi days at the grocery store right by the dentist so my sister is gonna come join me and we'll get lunch after. I might not be able to eat it right away, but I'll save it for later. Can't wait for this to be wrapped once and for all and have no more dentist until winter.
It's too hot to do any of my crafty hobbies. Temperature blanket is on hold while I track the temperatures and see what I want to do about swapping from average to highs anyway. No decisions yet there. I'll have to do it all in one mighty lump I guess in a while? I guess this is why I typically spend summers on video games and writing, stuff I can do sitting still and only sweating a little. Depends on the game. Sometimes I'm sweating like crazy.
